Here you will find a list of the local rules for the Goulburn Golf Club.
That area beyond the course boundary fences and any part of the course so marked, and includes:The practice fairwayThe Club House and its surroundsThe Car ParkOut of Bounds stakes are white with black tops.
Those areas the margins of which are defined by white stakes and/or lines, or by GUR signage.The Greenkeeper’s CompoundThe Pump House, (situated between the 6th and 14th fairways) Note: Stakes defining GUR are Immovable Obstructions.
If a staked or guarded, tree or shrub interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b(i) – Immovable Obstruction.Note: The stakes and tree guards are Immovable Obstructions.
Artificially surfaced roads and paths (includes gravel and wood-chips) are Immovable Obstructions. All other tracks and paths that are not predominately surfaced are integral parts of the course from which the ball must be played as it lies or declared unplayable (Rule 28).Note: The gravel and wood-chips are loose impediments.
